Basic In-Ground Pet Fencing System
You cherish your pet and she loves her freedom. But, you worry her curiosity will soon lead her too far from home or into traffic. You need an inexpensive fencing option to keep her in your yard, and the Basic In-Ground Pet Fencing System does just that. With the ability to cover up to 5 acres of property, this do-it-yourself system will help you train your dog to stay within the boundary area you set for her.
Installing your system:
With one free weekend, you can design a custom fence to meet your dog’s and your needs. It helps to sketch out your plans on paper before you begin installation. Then, mount the transmitter to a flat, dry surface. Next, lay out the wire in the yard where you would like to keep your dog. Connect the two ends to the transmitter...
Once you have the wire as you would like it, and it is properly connected to the system, follow the instructions and power up the system. After setting up the collar, test by walking your pet’s receiver collar in multiple locations to ensure system is functioning properly. Twisting the boundary wire cancels the signal and allows your pet to cross over that area without receiving a correction. After all areas are tested, carefully dig and bury the wire. Use a flat shovel and dig 1-3 inches deep at a 45 degree angle. After you have buried the wire, set up boundary flags as a reminder for your pet while you are training her to the system.
The Transmitter sends a radio signal through the wire. The wire works as an antenna to signal the Receiver Collar, which your pet wears. Your pet hears a tone as she approaches the wire, and will feel a harmless yet startling static correction if she continues to it. This deters your pet from crossing the boundary. In the beginning, the boundary flags can provide a visual “fence” for your pet to see where the boundary is.
Training your pet:
After you install your system, you can easily train your pet to the system on a leash until you feel comfortable letting her roam freely, plan to complete two to three training sessions every day. They should last about 10 to 15 minutes each. Depending on your pet, it may take up to two weeks for your pet to become fully acclimated to the system. Once she does, you’ll likely find your pet has become more confident and enjoys the freedom the fence provides.

There are many reasons why you should go for fencing in Doncaster, but the main reason is the security and safety o f people, especially kids. If you have kids at your home, fencing is inevitable as you cannot take a risk of their lives by keeping an open swimming pool. Another reason is the elegance that fencing brings.
